Covering EUOs & Creating CNAs

Learn everything a court reporter needs to know about EUOs and CNAs!

An Examination Under Oath (EUO) is a legal proceeding commonly covered by court reporters in many states in the U.S. Although EUOs are similar to depositions, there are critical procedural differences reporters must know before covering them.

A Certificate of Non-Appearance (CNA) is a document prepared by court reporters in many states in the U.S. Learn the protocols for creating these certificates and the easiest way to make them with fewer errors. Instead of trying to create a CNA in Notepad (.txt), you will learn how to create a CNA within a Word document and then convert it into an ASCII (.txt) file.
